Founded in the early 13th century and set deep in the wooded Ernici mountains above Collepardo, the Certosa di Trisulti is one of Lazio’s most evocative monasteries — a national monument of churches, cloisters and gardens.
Its highlight is the antica farmacia (old pharmacy), a small Baroque jewel of frescoes and painted cabinets. About a 30-minute drive from Fiuggi, it makes a memorable half-day excursion.
