Pozzo d'Antullo

A spectacular karst sinkhole near Collepardo — one of the largest dolines in Europe.

Just outside Collepardo, the Pozzo d’Antullo is a vast karst sinkhole (doline) around sixty metres deep, its sheer walls draped with hanging vegetation — a natural monument formed by the collapse of an ancient cave.

Viewed from the fenced rim, it’s an easy, family-friendly stop, often combined with the nearby Grotte di Collepardo caves and the Certosa di Trisulti.
